- Saturday, July 25th The RUSSELL BARBER BAND The REDWOOD CITY BLUES FESTIVAL Downtown Redwood City. The Redwood City P.A.L. Blues Festival has come into its own in only three years to become a major festival devoted to blues fans. I like festivals, but nothing beats a Blues Festival. So thrilled to get to play this festival with good friends Eddie B., Hans Bosse, and others. Come early, cuz that's when we'll be playing – and stay for other big names from the area. You just go downtown and you'll run into it.

Notcho average "wine bar" this hang out joint in Alameda features a larger venue and some good eats. We're trying this one on for size with a smaller combo featuring Dave Chavez on double bass, picking cuts from a West Coast Blues and Country reportoire, and will feature some Come on by.
